Why fight cancer and disease when you can work to prevent it?

ree

I found it quite ironic that out of all the people I knew, I got stage IV cancer. Ironic only because I was, and am, so very aware of what I ate, I exercised daily, I studied plant based nutrition to make sure I knew how to get myself and my children what we needed in our diets and I made sure to take supplements to add to my diet and my boys diets.

The part that I was missing was my emotional health, managing stress and taking care of myself as well as I took care of those I loved.

I studied for years, still do, about health and supplements and workouts and food. I read a book recently and it blew my mind. The advances that have been made in science with regards to living longer and caring for our bodies is something I wish I could share with the world. Tony Robbins and his team of brilliant co-authors have done it for me.

I read his latest book and it gave me so much hope. Hope for all the people that do not have a horrible disease they are battling and even for those that do. We can make changes in our lives that can add years to our lives, and improve the quality of our lives as well.

Some of the technology scientists have discovered is so exciting to me. Some of the things mentioned in the book are for the people that have money to spend, other things are supplements, lifestyle changes and simple tests that can be done with your doctor.

As I watch people that I love get older, sicker and are unable to do things that they used to do, I wish that I could convince them all to do something now. While they can.

I have a link to his brilliant book on my "Things I Love and Use" page, enjoy the read.
